Passing League Team:

The Battle at the Beach is the ultimate in summer high school passing league tournaments, featuring some of the finest high school football programs in Southern California. Hosted by Edison High School in Huntington Beach, this showcase event is now in its 13th season. To be held this year on Saturday, July 14th, starting at 9:00 AM, the Battle at the Beach provides outstanding competition, good food and fun in a surfside setting. Come join us for the day and enjoy the show!

Sixteen high school teams will compete in Edison's combination Pool Play/Tournament Playoff format. Four pools of four teams each play three games starting at 9, 10, and 11AM. Following a lunch break during the noon hour, the top two teams in each pool advance to the Gold Division tournament playoff bracket, while the third and fourth place teams in each pool advance to the Silver Division tournament playoff bracket. Tournament playoff games start at 1PM, with the Championship game for each division held at 3PM. Participating schools should note that all teams will play a minimum five games: the three pool games in the morning, plus two tournament play games at 1 and 2PM.

Our snack bar will be open all day and tournament tee shirts and tank tops will be available for sale on a first come, first serve basis as well.
