Equipment Agreement


Edison Charger Football offers to loan football equipment to its players to use for the 2021 football season.
All athletic equipment loaned to players is the property of Edison Charger Football. Said equipment is to be used solely for participating in the football program during practices, scrimmages and football games.
Said equipment is to be used by players for one season only. The equipment is to be issued at the beginning of the season and is required to be returned at the end of the season.
Edison Charger Football recommends for players to purchase their own protective equipment such as helmets and shoulder pads.
Players are responsible for all equipment loaned to them. This includes any lost or stolen equipment. All equipment is required to be returned in the same condition as it was loaned to them, less normal wear.
Equipment is issued to players based on several factors, such as players age, size, weight, position and many more. Under no circumstances are players permitted to trade or exchange their issued equipment with other players. All inventory is tracked by serial numbers and assigned player information.
Players using loaned equipment, are using said equipment at their own risk, Player/Parents agree to release Edison Charger Football of any and all liability if player sustains any kind of injury.
Charger equipment staff has detailed inventory information on the equipment that is loaned to players. In the event that a player feels that a piece of equipment does not fit correctly, is damaged or needs repair, it is important that players talk to their coach or the equipment staff immediately. Edison Charger Football will exchange, repair or replace the equipment.
Edison Charger Football is in no way responsible for players personal or loaned equipment. It is the sole responsibility of the player to take good care of their equipment. This includes but is not limited to; preserving, cleaning, and properly storing their equipment in a locked locker.
All loaned equipment is to be returned at the end of the season. In the event that any equipment is lost, stolen, or broken from misuse, or for any reason, not returned; players' report card/ transcripts will be held back until said equipment has been returned or paid for.
